BREAKING: Fed. High Court declines Okorocha’s application to stop recovery of assets

The former Governor of Imo State, Senator Rochas Okorocha has today lost again in court to the Imo State Government as a Federal High Court in Abuja refuses to grant him an Order of Interim injunction seeking to stop or forestall the absolute confistication of his illegally acquired properties in Imo. The suit filed by the Ex Governor was against the Imo State Government, EFCC and 46 others.

Recall that 2 days ago, a High Court sitting in Owerri presided over by Justice Fred Njemanze ordered the permanent and absolute forfeiture of all other properties contained in pages 226 to 272 of the Imo State Government White Paper (Gazette) on Land Use and other related matters.
